I am going to do a santa dash Sunday 7th December. It is a 5k run in a santa costume. How on earth do I train for this? I am lost. It is good though, I have a goal. And will get to wear a santa suit. Will be one of 6,000 santas.

santas

Anyway, here are recent pics from phone. To start with a couple of Pilton

pilton

Fatso probably needs to do a santa run too. Pilton gets to sit on the sofa with me more than wilbr because he is a big bully to wilbr and wilbr needs a break from him sometimes. 5 Seconds later Pilts wee’d on the sofa.

staring down the hole

Sometimes on my lunchbreak I sit on these big steps in Liverpool one and read my book, jot things down in my notebook, enjoy being outside for a bit. I always see people staring down this thing. They lean right over. And people see other people looking and go at look too. Everytime I’m sat there there’s a steady stream of people looking. But I haven’t looked. I’m there all the time but I don’t go over and look, it seems too contrived somehow. One day I will look. I will tell you all about it.

signs your son might be gay...

I was going to say this is a sign your son might be gay… yes, it is a little boy under that wig. But then I realised that no gay man would make the mistake of teaming that pink with red.

best seat on the train

This is the best seat on the train. At the back of the carriage, away from the doors, right in the corner. There’s always space back there, no matter how full the train, and its the best bit. I always head right there.

andre the ass

This is a donkey called Andre. Where is my turner prize???

I am well aware that I have not posted any mass shameful lists of food I have eaten. But I have been twittering things. There will be a serious attempt to get in shape ready for santa dash. I promise.

You’ve got romcom

On a scale of 1 to sad, how sad is it to like the film you’ve got mail?

Yes, I know, it’s corny, it’s unrealistic, it’s big on cliche and low on originality, it’s Meg Ryan: all very sound reasons for hating a film. But it’s Tom Hanks, and its dreamy, its so romantic at the end when she sees Tom Hanks and realises he’s the guy she’s been emailing, and she smiles and then she starts to cry.

When it comes to chick flicks, I’m easy to please.

Im tempted to start blogging every thing I eat to shame myself into eating better.

Dorset tomorrow! I’ve started packing, but I haven’t packed enough. Yes, I know I’m only going for two nights, but I’m scared of leaving something vital behind- like books or chargers or my patience or something. Getting the train to Bristol, and meeting mother there. We’re going to Ikea before going home. Which reminds me, must find my family card or else I wont be allowed a drink in the cafe!
