Ok, I will watch a lot of Doctor Who when I can this week and get together a blog post on my top ten moments during Davey T’s reign, but really, the main thing, is his relationship with Rose. Hence the title of this post. “You say it best when you say nothing at all”. Yes it’s a silly over sentimental song, but this is Rose and the Doctor, he never says it, he doesn’t tell her, but he does, and we can see that.
The strength of the writing and the acting in that relationship is immense, it’s the series best achievement, something that they’ve strived to recreate but they can’t.
When Rose and the Doctor get stuck together, believing they have lost of the Tardis and will have to get jobs, mortgages, and all that, she must cope with the idea that she will never see home again, never see her family. But when she ends up on one side and the doctor on the other, that is the point where she really breaks down, that is the point when we have no idea how she will cope with this, how we would cope in her situation.
OK I could talk about the Doctor and Rose for hours, but its going to end up incoherent, so lets shut this blog post down!
When you say nothing at all
